Michael Houske, Associate
Practice Areas
Michael Houske is an associate in the litigation department of Hooper, Lundy & Bookman. Mr. Houske’s practice involves representing hospitals and other health care providers in both court and arbitration in managed care disputes. Mr. Houske also has broad litigation experience in both state and federal courts in general business disputes such as breach of contract, business torts, unfair business practices, product liability, antitrust and securities matters.
Mr. Houske received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Concentration in Political Economy from Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota, in 1998. Mr. Houske received his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, University of California, in 2001.
Bars and Courts
Mr. Houske has been admitted to the California Bar since 2002. Mr. Houske has also been admitted to practice before United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
Prior to joining Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, Mr. Houske was a litigation associate for the firm of White & Case LLP.
