W. Clark Stanton, Partner
Clark Stanton focuses his practice in health law, representing hospitals, medical staffs and health care providers and organizations. He advises on operational and regulatory matters, including medical staff credentialing and peer review, medical confidentiality/HIPAA, and patient treatment matters. In the medical staff area, Clark counsels his clients on a variety of credentialing and peer review matters, ranging from investigations and hearings to assistance with medical staff and other peer review organizational issues, including peer review confidentiality and review and revision of medical staff bylaws and rules/regulations. He has served as a hearing officer in medical staff hearings. In the privacy area, Clark handles matters related to health records privacy and security issues, counseling clients on disclosure and remediation issues, including state and federal laws governing privacy breach notice and remediation, as well as OIG investigations and government agency access issues.
